Night Around the World
"Night Around the World" is a collaborative effort by multiple cultural organizations at Columbus State University, including CHISPA, International Club (IC), Filipino Student Association (FSA), African Student Association (ASA), India Club, Model UN, and EPIC (Ethnically Asian and Pacific Islander Club). Together, we aim to foster cultural appreciation, celebrate diversity, and promote inclusivity within Columbus State University, the Columbus community, and beyond. By working together, we strive to create an event that bridges cultural gaps and encourages meaningful connections.
As an CSU art alumni/ former CSU EPIC’s event committee/ former CSU Art Club president, I served an art director/event committee leader/ performance leader within Night Around the World. My role was to craft two cultural performance choreographies, to design props and costumes, to decorate stage and tables, and to create projection designs. The projection designs are to highlight cultures and support performances.
